If you wish to revert to the version of The Bard's Tale prior to the Remastered & Resnarkled update, we have made it available as a "beta" branch on Steam.
To switch back, please follow these steps:
- Open Steam.
- Go to your "Library" tab.
- Find "The Bard's Tale".
- Right-click it and select "Properties" from the drop-down menu.
- Select the "Betas" tab in the Properties window.
- Type in the code "TheBardsTaleUnsnarkled" in the box, then click the "Check Code" button.
- Select the new "oldbuild" branch which appears in the drop-down menu above.
- Close the Properties window.
Steam will begin downloading the older version of the game. After it's finished, your game should be reverted back to the previous version.
